How much cooler is a fairy with a massive beard?
A lovable character, beautiful artwork, an engaging story, and a vital life lesson for children… and parents.

Why are all of the fairies in children’s stories all feminine? How much cooler is a fairy with a massive beard who uses rocket fuel to get around?

It’s time for a new character in children’s books; one that is loved by people of all ages, regardless of sex, background, or personality. It’s time for a friendly, relatable character with common insecurities and unique talents, just like you and me.

harry-autMaddox Pace Clinkscales (Author). After college, Pace spent 15+ years exploring different occupations in several cities across the US. The winding journey eventually led him back home to be with family and old friends. Successes, failures, personal growth, and tragedies led Pace to a place where he desired to put his heart into a project that had the potential to benefit others. Spending special time with a few families with young children allowed him to see how impressionable kids are, and also discover the educational value and fun of reading aloud to them. These experiences solidified that plan to write books for families to share together.

Pace Clinkscales decided to take on a meaningful project for the sake of enriching the lives of growing children. Kids today (and adults) need to be reminded of how special they are, and that they have an important purpose. The author has a plan for a series of books to encourage children to be themselves, amidst life’s various struggles, and to contribute to the world around them. After several iterations of several characters, Pace found that children universally loved Harry and his adventures.

Pace assembled a team of artists and creatives to put the first book together, and it’s almost ready to present to the little people in your life. In order to make the dream of Harry the Hairy Fairy a reality, $4,321 is needed.

The monetary goal for this campaign is the amount required to print the first production run of the book. If you have some special young people in your life, please take time to read to them. We would like to ask you to consider adding Harry the Hairy Fairy to your collection of beloved children’s stories. You will fall in love with Harry, and so will the kids.
